I had the opportunity to collaborate with the team at IDEO to produce a 4-minute animated video for the "Reimagine Childcare" website. The initiative highlights the immense pressures faced by families, caregivers, and educators within the U.S. childcare system, which approaches childcare from the position of scarcity.  The website also serves as a resource for parties involved to help build a more equitable future for childcare.

I designed the animation with a simple, abstract visual style to present this serious topic in a lighthearted and hopeful tone. Simple spherical shapes represent the human elements while shapes that are linear and angular represent the system that’s in place.
