Boards for North by Northeast Festival (NXNE), an annual event in Toronto, Canada which promotes independent artists from all over the world. Concerts, shows, panels, are set up in different venues around Toronto, creating a week long sensation.
I interpret the event as an invasion of a creative people that rocks, screams, and innovates. With the concept of "Space Invasion," I take the retro video games aesthetics to design this trailer. In it, different parts of the galaxy are being destroyed by some mysterious one, who turns out to be the fuzzy mascot of the festival. In the end, the creature destroys the neon-colored planet earth.
